SPRC organizes 2018 Rayong Youth Camp

    On 26th – 27th July 2018, Khun Bundit Vayuwattanasiri, Emergency Response Coordinator and SPRC team attended the opening ceremony and the activity of 2018 Sea Conservation Youth Camp at Navy Club Navy Mahidol Adulyadej at Sattahip in Chonburi. The opening ceremony was presided over by Captain Chamnarn Phuangpetch, Deputy Head of the Secretariat of the Development Committee Security of  Royal Thai Navy Region 1/ Deputy Chief Naval Region 1. The activity was cooperated by the members of the Oil Industry Environmental Safety Group Association (IESG) Rayong Area comprising of PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited, IRPC Public Company Limited, Map Ta Phut Tank Terminal Company Limited, PTT Tank Terminal Company Limited, and Star Petroleum Refining Public Company Limited.

   This activity was arranged as kinds of sharing knowledge related to the management of the marine environment and the knowledge station about water pollution. There were 80 students from 4 local schools in Rayong; Rayongwittayakom Nikom Uttasahakam school, Map Ta Phut Phanphittayakarn school, Watpapradoo school, and Rayongwittayakom Paknam school joining this activity. The objectives are to create the awareness  of marine environment conservation to the youth and to extend this knowledge to their school and community. Moreover this activity is enhancing the relationship between the youth and the IESG-RASC as well.
