SPRC participates in welcoming back the cave rescue Navy Seal, Khun Nam Nang Non, Chiangrai

     On July 12, 2018, at Naval Air Station, U-tapao International Airport, SPRC management and staff participated in welcoming back Thai Navy Seal Special Forces from the cave rescue after the mission completion in Chiang Rai.  Total of 159 officers led by Rear Admiral Abhakorn Yookongkaew, Commander of the Thai Navy Seal Special Forces arrived by C130 Airforce and the Amber aircraft.
     Admiral Rangsarit Sattayanukul, Commander of the Battle Squadron and the representative of the Royal Thai Navy, with government and other agencies, as well as the local people, gathered at the airport to show their support for the rescue team and to express genuine appreciation for their deed.
     The cave rescue mission began on June 23 when 13 members of the Wild Boar football team and their coach entered the Tham Luang cave, Chiang Rai, but did not came out. With international collaboration between many countries and unyielding endeavor of the rescue teams, the boys and the coach were all safely rescued, eventually. The operation last 18 days.
