SPRC Extends Safety Culture to Mabtaputpunpittayakarn School

Recently, Star Petroleum Refining Public Company Limited (SPRC)  together with the Rayong Provincial Office of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation, Map Ta Phut Municipality, Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate organized the “Safety Culture” activity and the “Basic First Aid and Basic Fire Fighting Training” to students and teachers of Mabtaputpunpittayakarn School. The three-day training was held on January 24, 2015, February 7 and 14, 2015, respectively, at the school.  At the end of the training, SPRC gave an emergency operation plan and a fire evacuation drill plan to the school as a safety guideline for students and teachers and as a basis to organize the school’s fire drill in the future. 
As for the “Safety Culture” event, this was held on January 27, 2015 also at Mabtaputpunpittayakarn School. SPRC volunteers helped setting up five learning bases to create and nurture safety and energy conservation awareness to students covering topics of safety in daily life, how to safely use online media, a hazard wheel, safety for kids and energy conservation. About 150 secondary school students from Matayom 1-6 (Grade 8-12) attended the event.
